Ten years after the Mirra chair was introduced the designers at Studio 7.5 believed it was time to evaluate and, if necessary, rethink their original design.

The designers at Studio 7.5 set out to create a high-performing ergonomic office chair that supports people who work in a constant state of motion. The result is Mirra 2, a leaner, lighter, sophisticated design with an athletic attitude and plenty of opportunities for personalisation.

Support in motion

Support for seated movement starts with a flexible yet supportive design that allows your body to move freely and naturally. Mirra 2’s Loop Spine provides torsional flex, allowing you to stretch and reach laterally, while the Harmonic 2 tilt provides a smooth, balanced feel as you recline.

TriFlex Back

The TriFlex back meets more rigorous cleaning protocols because there is no fabric layer.

PostureFit

Mirra 2 back offers passive PostureFit sacral support to keep your spine properly aligned as you sit. And tnhe back is ventilated to keep you cool, as well as supported, no matter how active you are.

Care and Maintenance

With regular care and maintenance, your Herman Miller product will provide many years of superior performance and satisfaction. To maintain quality, please follow the cleaning procedures outlined here.

Coated Metal

For normal cleaning, wash coated metal surfaces with a soft cloth soaked in detergent and warm water; rinse thoroughly and dry. Remove scuff marks from low-gloss coatings with pre-softened paste wax, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Remove scuff marks and scratches from high-gloss coatings using automotive polishing compounds, either liquid or paste. After polishing, apply a pre-softened automotive paste wax to restore original sheen.

Plastic

For normal cleaning, wash plastic surfaces with a soft cloth soaked in mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive kitchen cleaners.

Fabric

For normal cleaning, vacuum upholstery fabric using an upholstery attachment. If further cleaning is needed, dry-clean or spot clean fabric with solvent cleaner.

Do not brush fabric or use a vacuum attachment with a rotary brush. Brushing may permanently damage the nap or change the character of the fabric.

Do not apply water or any liquid solution. Wetting the fabric with any liquid solution may result in permanent damage.
